Tjeldstø 13 November 2008

Mistle Thrush duetrost - still around and just as impossible to close to
Two adult Whitefronts tundragås with a couple of Greylags grågås

There are five Whitefronts tundragås in this picture!

Chiff-chaff gransanger

Once again all the action was at Tjeldstø today.
Best birds were five albifrons Whitefronts tundragås (two adults and three juveniles). The other goodies were the Mistle thrush duetrost, 27 Waxwing sidensvans flying over, a couple of Goldfinch stillits and a late Chiff-chaff gransanger.
A few Little Auk alkekonge in / on / over the fjord and a Common Snipe enkeltbekkasin were also worth mentioning.
Virtually nothing during a breif visit to Sæle.
